Alpar Kamber is Executive Vice President at WNS and the BU Leader for Procurement Services. He was the Founder and CEO of Denali Sourcing Services, a next-generation procurement services provider that enables procurement organizations to influence more spend and execute more effectively and efficiently. In January 2017, WNS, a global business process management leader, acquired Denali Sourcing Services. Prior to joining Denali, Alpar held management positions at Ariba, FreeMarkets, Diamond Technology Partners and E&Y. Alpar leads WNS clients in building scalable sourcing programs and operationalizing their procurement function that drive consistency, repeatable outcomes, and bottom-line value across the organization. Alpar’s expertise is in procurement value chain, organizational design, change management and global program execution. Peter Nero is Senior Vice President at WNS-Denali. After graduating from Tepper Business School at Carnegie Mellon University, Peter worked as an independent consultant facilitating a Fortune 100 company’s North American online procurement and reverse auction program. He then joined the consulting firm Booz Allen. During his six-year tenure, Peter successfully managed strategy development, large-scale organizational transformation, process re-engineering and organization performance management for Fortune 500 organizations in the manufacturing, energy, entertainment and Federal government entities. Peter’s key role at WNS-Denali is enabling clients to leverage on-demand sourcing services to improve their sourcing execution capabilities, thus increasing addressed spend and driving additional cost savings to the bottom line. Peter’s expertise is in strategy, organizational design, change management and program management execution.
Alan C. Veeck, Ph.D. is Senior Vice President at WNS-Denali. He is focused on developing collaborative relationships with procurement executives to improve their organizations’ effectiveness, efficiency and reach. Before joining WNS-Denali, Alan was a Partner with Meakem Becker Venture Capital, a traditional venture capital firm focused on making significant investments in early-stage startup companies. Prior to Meakem Becker, Alan spent seven years at Ariba (formerly FreeMarkets), working with many of the company’s largest customers from multiple industries, and managing Ariba’s acquisition integration activities. Earlier in his career, Alan was an associate at McKinsey & Co where he worked extensively within the Purchasing and Supply Management practice and served a range of Global 1000 clients in the healthcare and diversified manufacturing industries. Alan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. He lives with his wife and four children in Sewickley, PA. Alan Veeck was named a 2013 Pros to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive.
Darshan Deshmukh is Senior Vice President of WNS-Denali. Darshan’s role is to drive procurement transformation for clients, managing global service delivery and end-to-end operations. Prior to joining WNS-Denali, Darshan served for 10 years with IBM and worked across multiple supply chain disciplines to deliver cost reductions, drive E2E supply chain re-engineering, design and develop Globally Integrated Enterprises (GIEs), and build organizational capabilities. Darshan has worked with global clients in telecom, software, financial services and consumer packaged goods, across India, China, Hong Kong, the UK and the US. Darshan received his MBA degree from the Pennsylvania State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Pune. He is a regular speaker at industry conferences such as the Service Science, Management & Engineering Conference in Asia (SSME) and is a guest lecturer at Penn State, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), and Indian Institute of Management (IIM). Chris Eyerman is the Senior Director for WNS-Denali. Chris leads WNS-Denali’s Solutions and Capabilities group to design, deliver and continuously improve procurement programs that provide real, lasting value and creates permanent change in how our customers conduct procurement business. He is a senior supply chain and program management executive with more than 30 years of technical and business experience, including 18 years of leading category management, source-to-contract, procure-to-pay and supply chain transformation programs. Prior to joining WNS-Denali, he served roles in program management, business development, product management and operations at FreeMarkets, Ariba and Exostar. Chris holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State, an MS degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, and an MBA degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
Lauren Gallagher is Sr. Director, Regional Operations NA for WNS-Denali. Lauren’s role is to align the optimal resources within North America, ensuring efficient and effective delivery across clients. She takes pride in helping create strategies, improve productivity, and manage quality in collaboration with the other WNS-Denali delivery centers. Immediately prior to joining WNS-Denali, Lauren led Accenture’s North and South American Category Management Delivery organization within the Procurement BPO operations. She managed a delivery team of 100+ resources responsible for more than USD 2.5 Bn in spend. In this role, Lauren co-sponsored the development and implementation of a robust category methodology. Prior to Accenture, through Lauren’s Consulting and Operations roles at Ariba (formerly FreeMarkets), she was instrumental in creating foundational infrastructure and processes to support flexible and effective client delivery in a fast-growing and constantly expanding consultative procurement environment. Earlier roles included leading procurement consulting engagements across half a dozen Fortune 500 diversified manufacturers, as well as sales and supply chain roles within the steel industry. Lauren earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Purdue University and lives north of Pittsburgh with her husband and four children. Gregg Cooper is Senior Director - Client Services for WNS-Denali. In this role, Gregg leads client engagements for the company’s financial services and insurance clients. Gregg has more than 20 years’ experience in the procurement and financial services, and in leading large-scale program management. Prior to joining WNS-Denali, Gregg was an executive at Bank of America, focusing on BPO and acquisition integration. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Ariba (formerly FreeMarkets), leading program management initiatives for some of the company’s largest global clients. Gregg holds a BA degree from American University and an MBA degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Susanne Wrage leads the Center of Excellence at WNS-Denali. She is responsible for knowledge management, internal training and the client-facing training offerings through Denali Academy. Prior to joining WNS-Denali, Susanne has had more than 15 years of experience in procurement, market intelligence, customer service and training. She has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, software, utilities and energy. Susanne’s career includes setting up her own company, where she gained extensive training experience, as well as positions at Alcoa and Denali Intelligence. Susanne holds a dual degree in business from HTW Saarbrücken, Germany and ESC Chambéry, France, in addition to a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from FHT Mannheim, Germany and an MBA degree from Tepper Business School of Carnegie Mellon University. David Jungling is responsible for Engagement Management across many customer sectors at WNS-Denali. David’s role is to drive successful customer programs that deliver customer value across spend analysis, sourcing, contracting and supplier performance. David is also responsible for continuing customer growth and satisfaction for WNS-Denali clients. Prior to joining WNS-Denali, David has had 30 years of experience with managing customers across industries, such as: aerospace and defense, automotive, diversified manufacturing and retail industries. He has managed sourcing projects in excess of USD 2 Bn in spend — in direct and indirect categories for Fortune 500 customers. David’s career has spanned multinational corporations and startups, including General Motors, Delphi, FreeMarkets, Co-eXprise and Exostar. David has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MS degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
